Safety First!

At Paws 48, we care deeply about the safety and wellbeing of every human and K-9. However, we cannot guarantee that fights will never happen. That's why we require all dogs over one year of age to be spayed or neutered (no dogs in heat). This helps to reduce behavioral problems and aggression, as well as to improve health and longevity!

Our staff are trained professionals who know how to handle scuffles if they occur. If your dog shows repeated behavioral issues or aggression in the playground, you will have to finish your visit in the dog treadmill section. Please talk to us if you want to work with one of our certified trainers!

We know about the risk of Canine Influenza, and we want to take steps to prevent it. We will reduce the number of dogs at our place and request that you bring your own bowl (BYOB) or buy a disposable one when you check in.
